Affirmative prayer devotional adapted from a Bible chapter to assist you with your personal time, prayer, and conversations with God.

“But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. ‘Expel the wicked person from among you.’”

1 CORINTHIANS 5:11-13 NIV

Dear God,

I am pure before You. I do not tolerate immorality.

I only boast in You and my faith, Lord.

Thank You for the Holy Spirit, who is always with me wherever I am.

Your power is ever-present in my life and in the lives of those I love.

I am saved and free.

I am a new creation in You, Father.

I am honest and sincere. I speak Your truth with confidence and authority.

I associate with those who obey You, God. Those who are righteous, generous, sober-minded, honest, and worship You only.

I am Your child and am blessed.

In Jesus’s Name,

Amen.
