November 8, 2020 (Revelation 2, NIV)
Affirmative prayer devotional adapted from a Bible chapter to assist you with your personal time, prayer, and conversations with God.
“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.”
REVELATION 2:10 NIV
Dear God,
Thank You for giving me Your word.
My deeds are good and glorify Your name. I work hard and persevere. I am surrounded by the people who represent You.
I am full of energy to do Your will and purpose.
I love You more than anyone and anything, Lord.
I am near You and do not sin.
I am blessed and highly favored.
I have ears and hear what the Holy Spirit says to me. I am victorious and shall eat from the tree of life.
I live in Your presence.
I am prosperous and successful, for I am Your child.
I am brave and unafraid. I am grateful for Your protection, Father.
I am faithful and have abundant life.
I am safe, because Your angles are all around me day and night.
I am armed with Your word, the sharp, double-edged sword.
I live by the rules of Your kingdom and remain true to Your name. I shall never renounce my faith in You, for I am Your faithful witness forever.
I hold to Your teaching and am committed to the plans You have for me.
My heart and mind are pure and devoted to You.
I hold on to what You tell and give me, God.
I do Your will to the end and have authority.
In Jesus’s Name,
Amen.
