October 19, 2020 (Hebrews 6, NIV)
Affirmative prayer devotional adapted from a Bible chapter to assist you with your personal time, prayer, and conversations with God.
“It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.”
HEBREWS 6:4-6 NIV
Dear God,
I am mature, for I heed Your teachings. I am forgiven, do not sin, and have a strong foundation in You. I am faithful.
I am cleansed and have eternal life.
I am enlightened, taste the heavenly gift, and share in the Holy Spirit.
I taste the goodness of Your word and am filled with Your power.
I shall never fall away, but am close to You all of my days. I live in a way honorable to Your name.
I am fruitful with the blessings I receive.
I am saved and live justly.
Thank You for Your works in my life and the lives of those I love. I am grateful for all Your care and help.
I am diligent to the very end and everything I hope for is realized.
I inherit the fulfillment of Your promises through faith and patience.
I believe in You, Your Son Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and all Your promises with my whole heart, Lord.
I am blessed and provided with everything I need.
I wait for You patiently and trust Your perfect timing.
Thank You for Your unchanging nature and Your great purpose for my life.
I am greatly encouraged by my relationship with You, Father.
I put my hope in You and it is an anchor for my soul, firm and secure. My body is Your sanctuary.
I praise and worship You only.
In Jesus’s Name,
Amen.
